Nearly There.

Don't you just hate it when you are so close to achieving something, and yet so far away? Well today's training went exactly that way.

Although yes, it was a good day to train because all the tests were officially over after the Maths B test [which I completely screwed up btw].

And the training did indeed go well because I felt the muscles begging for me to stop but yet I continued. After the training, I was barely able to walk home carrying all my luggage and I bet tomorrow morning, half the muscles in my body will be hurting way beyond the usual...
Heck, my arm hurts even as I type this!

See, what happened today was that I started with a simple warm-up leading up a flat wall. Next, feeling adventurous, I decided to do The Overhang. For those of you not in the know-how, The Overhang is the left-most of the "jutting-out" climbing walls. The thing about Overhang is that at least there are no Roof sections, the steep incline is constant all the way up.

So well, I was climbing The Overhang and doing quite well, because I reached the part where I last fell and managed to go higher. But I was forewarned that the last two moves are the most extreme ones.

Nothing [Repeat: Nothing At All!] could have prepared me for how difficult it really was. I managed to do a really hard drop-knee with a cross-hand to reach the second-last tile. But that's when I had to lock my left arm, which was already tired after climbing around four storeys up, and the arm couldn't hold on any longer. The last tile may not have been within reach at all, but it just felt disappointing to have climbed the whole darn Overhang just to fall off at the second-last tile.

Well, that's life. You don't always get it your way...
